Personalized Genetics for Every Stage of Health

Take our quiz to decide which genetic health consult is right for you.

Proactive Wellness

Discover early genetic clues to your long-term health. We help you assess risks and create a personalized plan for prevention, screening, and wellness. Be proactive about your health instead of waiting for symptoms.

Nutrigenomics

Your DNA can guide nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle choices. We interpret your results and help you optimize your diet and wellness based on your genetics.

Family Planning

Know your inherited risks before having children. We review results, explain inheritance, and guide reproductive options for confident family planning.

Hereditary Alpha-Tryptasemia (HαT)

Unexplained allergic reactions or multisystem symptoms may be HαT-related. We help interpret results and explain implications for symptom management and family health.

Pharmacogenomics

Your genes affect how you respond to medications. We translate results into actionable guidance for safer, more effective treatments tailored to you.

Weight Management

Genetics influence metabolism, appetite, and fat storage. We provide personalized strategies such as lifestyle, medications, or surgical guidance to help you reach sustainable weight goals.

Neurogenetics

Genetic factors can influence epilepsy, developmental delays, neuropathies, and movement disorders. We guide testing and results interpretation to help you take next steps in care.

Family History of a Known or Suspected Genetic Condition

Concerned about a genetic condition in your family? We assess your risk, review testing options, and provide clear next steps for you and your relatives

Hereditary Cancer

Understand your inherited cancer risk. We review your personal and family history, guide testing, and provide clear prevention and screening strategies. Take control of your future health.

Cardiovascular & Heart Health

Many heart conditions are inherited. We identify genetic risks, recommend testing, and create a personalized heart-health plan. Protect your heart with informed choices.

Connective Tissue Disorders

Joint hypermobility, chronic pain, or vascular findings may indicate a genetic disorder. We clarify diagnosis, guide testing, and support family risk assessment.

*While genetic counseling can provide valuable information and guidance, an in-person physical examination by a medical geneticist remains the gold standard for evaluating suspected connective tissue disorders and is strongly recommended when possible.

Second Opinion /

Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Testing Review

Already have genetic test results? We provide an expert review to clarify what matters and what doesn’t, helping you make sense of your health and family implications.

Because DTC results require additional time to review, we ask that you send your data in advance

Your Genetic Wellness Journey, Made Simple

What Working With Empower Genetics Looks Like

Step 1: Meet With Your Genetic Counselor

Your journey starts with a one-on-one session with a board-certified genetic counselor.

We review your personal and family history, discuss your goals, and choose the most accurate and clinically valid test for your needs.

You’ll gain a clear understanding of the testing process and what your results can (and cannot) tell you.

Step 2: Easy, At-Home Testing

Your test kit arrives directly at your door.

Most tests use a simple saliva or cheek swab (some specialized testing may need a blood draw).

Everything is designed for quick at-home collection with prepaid return shipping to the lab.

Step 3: Results & Personalized Action Plan

You will meet with your genetic counselor again for a results session where your DNA results will be translated into practical insights in a way that's clear and empowering.

Depending on your testing done and results, you'll receive personalized recommendations that may include:
-Medical Support Recommendations
-Lifestyle Changes
-Nutrition & Diet Support

Step 4: Continued Support

We’re here long after you get your results.

You’ll receive secure chat access with your genetic counselor, updates on applicable test result findings, and coordinated care with your primary care or specialty providers (with your consent).

Your health journey shouldn’t feel lonely and with us, it won’t.
